Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area fee free February 15
LAS VEGAS – The Bureau of Land Management will waive amenity-related fees at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for Presidents Day on February 15. Other fees, such as camping, entry reservations and group day use, will remain in effect.
A timed entry reservation is still required for entry to the Scenic Drive between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and available through Recreation.gov at https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10075177. The gates open at 6 a.m., and no reservations are required before 8 a.m. There is also limited mobile phone service at Red Rock Canyon NCA.
Red Rock Canyon was designated as Nevada’s first national conservation area. It is located 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. The area includes a 13-Mile Scenic Drive, miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, road biking, picnic areas, and nature observing.
