Exploring the Great Outdoors will provide content on: cultural aspects of Red Rock
Canyon National Conservation Area, the different life zones in the area, overview of
geology, the water cycle as it pertains to the Las Vegas area and the Spring Mountain
Range.

Participants will be in the field during a portion of this course. Dress
appropriately for weather conditions and be prepared to be outside, bring water and a lunch.

There is no food available for purchase on site.
