Tortoise Soaking Day

Friends of Red Rock Canyon volunteers soak the tortoises in the enclosures behind the Visitor Center for about 20 minutes every Monday starting at 8 a.m. Soaking helps keep the tortoises hydrated and cleans their shells so they can be more easily identified by volunteers.
